The Fermilab Ecological Land Management (ELM) Committee is seeking a Fermilab employee to take on the duties of the Secretary role. The ELM Committee secretary fulfills various tasks related to the email listserv, agendas, minutes, and membership letters. Time spent is typically three hours per month.
The Fermilab Ecological Land Management (ELM) Committee is a Directorate-approved, chartered organization. The purpose is to provide sound ecological advice to the laboratory and an ELM plan to deliver recommendations on land management to Fermilab. Meetings are the first Thursday of the month from 12:00-1:00 PM.
The ELM Committee is made up of Fermilab employees and consulting members including land managers, biologists and experts from other federal agencies, state and county government, not-for-profits and private companies.
