The European Physical Society High-Energy and Particle Physics Division has awarded its 2013 Outreach Prize to Fermilab physicist Don Lincoln "for communicating in multiple media the excitement of high-energy physics to high-school students and teachers and the public at large."
Lincoln is the first non-European to be awarded the EPS HEPP Outreach Prize.
The annual award is intended to recognize outstanding outreach achievements connected with high-energy physics or particle astrophysics.
