Spring 2016 Innovation $20 million fund application

We’re excited to announce the opening of the Spring 2016 Innovation Fund Application.

The University of Chicago Innovation Fund is a $20 million fund that invests in early business development and proof-of-concept work for projects or ventures created by faculty, students and staff. The Innovation Fund awards grants and invests in promising technologies and start-ups with high potential for societal and commercial impact, helping them to bridge the gap between basic research funding and commercial investment.

The Innovation Fund makes investments ranging from $20,000 to $250,000 that enable the teams to reach a critical milestones, paving the way for commercialization, market validation or external funding.
