Register now for the 49th annual Fermilab Users Meeting.

Dear Fermilab colleagues, users and friends,

Registration for the annual Users Meeting (June 15-16) is open now. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, June 1. Registration is free, but an accurate head count is important for our banquet and coffee breaks, plus name badges and meal tickets for participants.

The Users Executive Committee has arranged a two-day program of excellent speakers, a vendor exhibition and a young scientist poster session. The registration link can be found at: http://www.fnal.gov/orgs/fermilab_users_org/users_mtg/2016/.

The public lecture held in conjunction with this year’s Users Meeting will be given by Barry C. Barish from the California Institute of Technology on June 15 at 8 p.m. The title is “Einstein, Black Holes and a Cosmic Chirp.”

We also encourage you to join us for our other special events: Festa Italiana on the evening of June 14 and the public lecture on the evening of June 15. Please consider attending the New Perspectives meeting on June 13 and 14, where young members of the scientific community will showcase their work.

We look forward to seeing you at the Users Meeting!

Sarah Lockwitz is the Users Meeting co-chair. Bill Louis is the Users Executive Committee chair. Thomas Strauss is the Users Meeting chair.
