This September, Fermilab has the honor of hosting two safety workshops with participants from around the world. This allows the lab to showcase some of our safety programs and enables networking with facilities across the U.S. and in other countries.

Accelerator Safety Workshop

Fermilab will host the 2016 DOE Accelerator Safety Workshop Sept. 20-22. This workshop focuses on safety systems and their use at accelerator facilities. Various talks include topics such as major project highlights, work planning, operational experience and recent lessons learned. People attending the workshop will have the opportunity to tour various Fermilab experimental areas, including MINOS/NOvA, FAST, CMTF, CMTS1 and the PIP-II Injector Test Experiment.
