Ever wonder what happens at Fermilab’s Test Beam Facility? Now is your opportunity to see and learn about the MTest and MCenter beamlines and what they provide for Fermilab users. Join Mandy Rominsky, test beam facility manager, on a guided tour where she will explain what experimentalists do when they come to the test beam, showcase a few detectors and provide an overview on how other areas of the lab play a role in the test beam facility.
Two tour dates are currently available: Wednesday, October 19, noon to 1 and Tuesday, October 25, noon to 1. Buses will depart for the test beam facility from the Wilson Hall horseshoe at noon and will return to Wilson Hall by 12:55 p.m.
