On Tuesday, April 25, at 6 p.m., the University of Chicago will present its Brinson Lecture.
Nergis Mavalval, Marble professor of astrophysics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will give the lecture, titled “The Warped Universe: the one hundred year quest to discover Einstein’s gravitational waves.”
The lecture takes place at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 112 South Michigan Ave., in the MacLean Ballroom.
