DPF 2017 is almost here! Register by June 8

The 2017 APS Division of Particles and Fields meeting will be held at Fermilab — during the lab’s 50th anniversary year — from July 31-Aug. 4. There are just three weeks left until early registration closes on June 8, so register now.

The DPF meeting is the largest particle physics conference this year in the United States. With 500 abstracts submitted, it will be an interesting and exciting conference for us to talk about our field’s latest results and future plans. You’ll also get to talk with DOE and NSF representatives about funding opportunities.

And since Fermilab turns 50 this year, attendees will be treated to Fermilab theorist Chris Quigg’s “Fermilab’s Greatest Hits” lecture.

Registration is required for all participants, including Fermilab employees. Fees go up after June 8, and final registration will close on July 14.

I look forward to seeing you this summer during our golden anniversary!

Dmitri Denisov is the DPF 2017 chair.
