Playgroup plants Children’s Garden in the Village

On Wednesday, May 31, Playgroup planted a children’s garden in the Village near the Users Center.

Families came together and contributed plants and seeds for the garden. We planted tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, lavender, peas, zucchini, corn, strawberries, a pumpkin and a watermelon.

“We have lots of  tasty fruits and vegetables to look forward to for our Playgroup potlucks this summer,” Kiersten Leidburg told her sons.

Special thanks to Konnie from the Frontier Pub and Dave Shemanske from FESS for helping us find the perfect spot for a Children’s Garden! The children had a great time.

Playgroup meets at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday at Kuhn Barn. We share a potluck together, and the kids have a fun time playing and making crafts. Everyone is welcome!
