The Fermilab Housing Office is taking requests for reservations for houses and apartments for the remainder of 2017 and the spring of 2018. Please submit your request for reservations to the Housing Office by Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Allocations of houses and apartments will be determined by the Housing Allocation Committee. Allocations will be based on the priorities and the needs of the Laboratory as determined by the Directorate.
The Housing Office will continue to accept requests for dormitory rooms for stays with arrival dates in the current calendar year. These requests are filled on a first come/first served basis. Housing requests must be made by using our Online Housing Request form at:
For requests that cannot be accommodated, the requester will be asked if they want to be on the wait list.
We ask that any person living on-site will make steady use of the housing for the period reserved. If the space will not be used for some portion of the visit, please notify the Housing Office.
A fee equal to two weeks rent will be charged to an individual or group if notice of cancellation or postponement is not provided to the Housing Office two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date. Postponements are allowed on a one-time basis only, for a maximum period of two weeks. After two weeks, it may be necessary to reassign the accommodation.
