In case you haven’t heard: On August 21 there will be a solar eclipse visible in the USA. The total eclipse can be seen in lower Illinois. We will see a partial here in Batavia. We should be able to see 88% of the solar eclipse here at Fermilab. The start time will be 11:52 a.m., the max at ~1:18 p.m., and ends ~2:41 p.m. Be sure to wear appropriate protective eyewear.
