This year’s Veterans Day Lunch drew 121 people to Kuhn Barn on Friday, Nov 10. Corky’s Catering provided chicken, Italian beef and mostaccioli. There were also two cakes and many homemade desserts provided by the servers. Guest speaker Jacob Zimmerman, superintendent of the Kane County Veterans Assistance Office, shared his U.S. Coast Guard Experiences while based in Chicago. He also explained how veterans can get information and apply for benefits using resources in his office. East Aurora JROTC presented the flags, and trumpeter Sean Golinski played mess call and taps.
