Upcoming eMarketplace Class for eShoppers

Are you interested in ordering commonly used off-the-shelf (COTS) items needed for your work? As an eShopper, you can fill a cart, save a cart, and share a cart with an eLicense holder in eMarketplace.

Did you know that you can easily find products, as well as consolidate orders, from multiple suppliers?

There are many benefits to eMarketplace.

-Streamlines the workflow for purchases.
-Provides online browsing to help requestors quickly and easily find products.
-Enables price comparison between multiple suppliers.
-Provides reduces costs through competitive pricing.
-Provides reduced or eliminated shipping costs typically associated with other ordering methods.
-Eliminates paper-generated forms.
-Decreases delivery time for the customer at no additional costs – next day delivery for many items stocked locally.

Register for eShopper class – the next eShopper class will be held on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018, from 9 to 10 a.m., WH2SW Curia II. If you’re interested in becoming an eLicense holder, check with your supervisor to confirm which eMarketplace role is best for you. The next eLicense holder class will be held in the training center computer lab, 2nd quarter 2018, either in April or May. eShopper classes are held monthly; eLicense holder classes are conducted quarterly.
