WHAT ARE WE DOING?
A new release of the Self-Service Property (SSP) web application will be implemented beginning at 9 a.m. on March 4. This release introduces electronic property inventories and retires the old paper-based system.
WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?
Electronic inventories will be periodically rolled out over the next several days as part of this year’s property inventory campaign.
WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?
Property custodians can now verify your assets electronically through Self-Service Property. Once a custodian submits an inventory, their supervisor will be notified via email to electronically approve it.
Supervisors can view the assets for their team members as well as approve electronically.
SSP Admins have the ability to view open inventories within an assigned division or section to help ensure completion.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Please visit the Self-Service Property landing page, fermiproperty.fnal.gov, where you can log in to the application as well as access quick reference guides and other helpful information.
Watch for email from the Property Office over the next several days regarding this year’s inventory campaign. In the future, all property notifications will be sent via email.
