Quiz time; another chance to shine!
Fermilab News at Work would like to congratulate Thomas Kraus, Rodolfo Perez and Matt Crawford for winning last week’s quiz! According to “Beyond Ultima Therma — into deepest space” it would take 6,000 years. If you did the calculation yourself, you would find that it would take upwards of 70,000 years. We accepted both answers.
Thank you to everyone who participated.
Once again, the first lab employee or user to submit the correct answer to the question will be featured in next week’s quiz and will receive a small token of recognition.
This week’s question is:
Why were crab cavities given their name? Hint: See LHC Accelerator Upgrade Project update.
Send your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org by today, March 7, at 4 p.m.
Good luck! We will announce the winner and answer next week.
