You’re invited: “Technology Commercialization 101”

Jason Pariso

Fermilab’s Office of Partnerships and Technology Transfer (OPTT) and Argonne’s Science and Technology Partnerships and Outreach Directorate cordially invite you to attend “Technology Commercialization 101” featuring Jason Pariso from the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The event takes place at Argonne on Wednesday, March 20, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Pariso will provide insights and “next step” resources related to the following topics:

  • How to communicate your unique value
  • How to find potential partners and create connections
  • How to listen actively and communicate clearly
  • How to understand a potential partner’s problems
  • How to manage the partnership process

Advance registration is required. We recommend registering by March 15 so OPTT can make arrangements for your Argonne guest pass, which is required by Argonne’s site access procedures. If you register for this opportunity, please contact Laura Rogas in OPTT at lrogas@fnal.gov or x6966 no later than March 15 to make guest pass arrangements.

Pariso is the director of the George Shultz Innovation Fund, an early stage fund dedicated to the commercialization of research and technology generated at the University of Chicago. He also develops strategic initiatives and programming for the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He previously served as the Vice President of product management for Pinpoint MD, a healthcare startup building the first patient-physician engagement platform.
