WHAT ARE WE DOING?
There is a planned downtime scheduled for Wednesday, April 17.
- We will be updating the OSG repository on all systems to v3.4, if the systems are not already on that version. This affects nearly all interactive systems (e.g., ‘gpvm’ nodes and miscellaneous others).
- We will be updating the vo-client package from the OSG repository to be compatible with recent updates to the VOMS server certificates.
- A small number of kernel updates will be done and those systems will be rebooted. These systems are listed below.
- Some systems may also have to be rebooted after the planned dCache maintenance. We will address that as needed when that maintenance is completed.
WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?
Wednesday, April 17; between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?
There should be no impact except for the systems which will be rebooted either due to kernel updates or the planned dCache maintenance.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Be aware that these activities are taking place. Open a Service Desk ticket if you notice any issues after the maintenance window.
