Hundreds gathered for the 52nd Fermilab Users Meeting on June 12 and 13. The events reflected this year’s theme, “Your community, your science: It’s about everyone that makes it happen.” A kick-off panel highlighted contributions from members of the lab community, the Directorate gave a report on the lab’s Statement of Community Standards, and experts led parallel training sessions in science communication and writing better abstracts and talks.

Users also celebrated two big milestones: the 20-year anniversary of the commissioning of the Main Injector and Recycler accelerators and the end of the MINERvA experiment’s data-taking run. And the Fermilab Student & Postdoc Association hosted its annual New Perspectives Conference. Fermilab Deputy Director for Research Joe Lykken capped off the meeting with a keynote address on Fermilab’s pursuits in quantum information science.

Videos of the meeting presentations are now available online.
