WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Computing will be upgrading the network installation at the Service Desk area on the ground floor of Wilson Hall. This upgrade includes relocating equipment to a rack with the new UPS backup system, replacing the old end-of-life switch and relocating cable bundles to the new switch.
WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?
Wednesday, Sept. 25, 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. Central Time
WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?
During this event the Service Desk will operate with reduced capabilities.
• Network and wireless access for the Service Desk and Print room will be down.
• One member of Service Desk crew will be temporarily relocated to Wilson Hall East Mezzanine area with other NTT personnel to handle any phone calls coming in.
• Another Service Desk member will stay at the normal Service Desk area to direct and assist any walk-ins that occur until the work is complete.
