On Friday, Sept. 11, DOE Office of Science Director Chris Fall visited Fermilab.
At 9 a.m., he joined the Fermilab Fire Department in their annual bell ceremony to honor firefighters who were lost on Sept. 11, 2001.
He then toured Fermilab’s science facilities and experiments: the PIP-II Injector Test Facility, accelerator magnet facility in the Industrial Center Building, Quantum Lab, Mu2e magnet test area, ICARUS detector and Main Control Room.
