Updates to the Policy on Sponsoring Foreign Nationals for US Immigration Benefit

WDRS has updated the policy on sponsoring foreign nationals employees for US immigration benefits, which now addresses the requirement to exhaust both J-1 and F-1 temporary statuses before changing to H-1B. It also provides an option of cost analysis in cases where a family-based green card process may replace the employment-based process. Any deviations from the policy, such as an early change to H-1B status, must be approved and initiated by the division head accompanied by a lab business-need explanation.
