The IM21 calendar launches on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m. with a workshop titled Inclusive Communication with Gratitude, led by Anna Burroughs. This virtual workshop emphasizes valuing the voices of all Fermilab community members and stresses the importance of expressing gratitude for their contributions along the way.
Inclusion Matters 2021 builds upon IM20 presentations and workshops focused on the theme Building a Sense of Community. Along with expressions of appreciation for the lab community’s contributions to workplace inclusion, the IM calendar includes presentations and workshops on cross-cultural communication, LGBT Safe Zones, and how to be an upstander.
Through December, there will be quarterly opportunities for you to nominate your colleagues for EDI Contributor Recognition and celebrate their commitment to prioritizing workplace equity, diversity and inclusion. Award recipients will be showcased in Fermilab News at Work and Fermilab Today as an expression of gratitude and appreciation. We encourage you to submit nominations!
Registration for each event or workshop takes place through Zoom, and registrants will receive reminders and updates about upcoming workshops and events.
