Mark Bollinger named deputy manager of the DOE Carlsbad Field Office

Mark Bollinger, deputy manager of the Department of Energy Fermi Site Office and currently on assignment at the DOE Carlsbad Field Office, has been selected as the new deputy manager for the Carlsbad Field Office, effective April 25. Whitney Begner serves as the new deputy manager of the Fermi Site Office. If you have any questions, please contact Fermi Site Office Manager Rick Verhaagen.

Mark had served as the Fermi Site Office deputy manager since 2007. He also completed details with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, DOE Headquarters, the Brookhaven Site Office and the Princeton Site Office. Prior to his appointment with DOE, Bollinger worked as a scientist for the state of Indiana.

As the deputy site office manager, Mark built relationships across the Fermilab organization as he worked to improve processes and strengthen lab performance. Best wishes to Mark in his new position.
