Security-related changes to remote printing

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Due to security concerns, Computing will be blocking remote printing on all Windows laptops and desktops. This will not impact your ability to use centrally managed printers (aka Managed Print Service devices) or locally attached printers.

WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?
Friday, July 2; at 2:30 p.m.

WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?
You will no longer be able to remotely print to a device that is not part of Managed Print Service. However, you can still print to locally attached printers.

If you need to print to a device that is not part of Managed Print Service, please contact the Service Desk.
