The Office of Education and Public Engagement (EPE) appreciates the time and expertise individuals from the entire lab community contribute to help it meet its education and engagement objectives. To show its appreciation, EPE will hold a virtual lunch and interactive trivia game on Sept. 24 and will also honor a few special individuals at the same time. They need your help selecting those individuals.
EPE invites any current employee or user to nominate a colleague who has excelled in their education and public engagement endeavors during FY21. To submit a nomination, fill out this form (Services login required) and include the person’s name, division or section and a brief description of how they contributed to education and public engagement. Nominations are due by Sept. 10 and will be reviewed by a committee that will consider the person’s amount of service (length, breadth or intensity of service); leadership; initiative; and effectiveness in helping share EPE’s education and/or public engagement goals. The winners will be announced at the appreciation event on Sept. 24.
More details on the virtual lunch and trivia event will be announced soon. In the meantime, please help EPE celebrate those individuals who have been a part of its education and public engagement efforts by nominating a current employee or user by Sept. 10.
