Teamcenter upgrade and downtime Sept. 30 to Oct. 4

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Computing will be upgrading Teamcenter, NX and Simcenter to a new version. This will affect all Teamcenter users.

WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?

Teamcenter will be shut down Thursday night, Sept. 30, after 5 p.m. and will be available in the early morning on Monday, Oct. 4.

 

WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?

During the maintenance period specified above, Teamcenter will not be available.

After the upgrade, there will be minor changes to the look and feel of Teamcenter. Any new training videos will be placed on the Teamcenter WordPress site at https://teamcenter.fnal.gov/training-materials/.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

  • Prior to Sept. 30:
    • Check in all Teamcenter datasets
    • Complete all workflows
  • Teamcenter/NX users should save all work, clear your Teamcenter cache and log off of your computer—but please leave your computer on—prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30.
  • After the upgrade is complete, if you encounter any issues, please submit a Service Desk ticket for assistance.
