eBS upgrade and downtime Nov. 3-8

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Beginning Nov. 3, Fermilab’s Oracle e-Business Suite system that supports accounting, purchasing and other financial operations will undergo a significant upgrade to install the latest functionalities and security levels. As a result, the eBS system will be unavailable for use between Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 6 a.m. and Monday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m.

WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?
From Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 6 a.m. to Monday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m.

WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?
During the upgrade, EBS users will be unable to enter or approve requisitions, purchase orders or invoices; use web queries; perform system checks; or create new departments, projects or tasks in Project Accounting.
