Virtual Neutrino Social Global – with special guest Regina Rameika – Friday, Oct. 29

Virtual Neutrino Social Global – with special guest Regina Rameika – Friday, Oct. 29, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Regina Rameika is a Fermilab scientist in the Neutrino Division, currently serving as co-spokesperson of the DUNE experiment. She has had high-ranking positions and made important contributions to several Fermilab-involved neutrino efforts, from being project manager for building the MINOS experiment, to being instrumental since (before) the early days of DUNE and the success of the single phase ProtoDUNE detector at CERN. Rameika was also a member of the DONuT experiment at Fermilab which provided the first direct observation of tau neutrinos interacting with matter. In addition to experimental/project experience, she served as head of the Fermilab Neutrino Division from 2014 to 2016.

To join the social, you will need to register at the NSG Indico page (https://indico.fnal.gov/event/51146/) and a Zoom link will be sent prior to the event.
