Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) issues update

UPDATE Nov. 30, 2021: 9:30 a.m. Computing continues research on resolving workflow notification issues. Please log in to eBS regularly and check your notifications to ensure there are no approvals waiting in your queue. This will be the last post in this announcement. UPDATE Nov. 19, 2021: 9:15 a.m. Computing is still working on resolving intermittent time out and workflow notification issues.

UPDATE Nov. 17, 2021: 9:31 a.m. We continue to work on resolving the workflow notifications issue.

UPDATE Nov. 16, 2021: 10:59 a.m. Please be aware that workflow notification emails (e.g., invoice approvals, requisition approvals, etc.) are currently stuck in the outbound queue and we are working on resolving the issue. In the meantime, you will need to log in to eBS to see your notifications in your inbox. 

UPDATE Nov. 16, 2021: 9:30 a.m. Some users are still experiencing intermittent issues. We are continuing to work on resolving these issues.

UPDATE Nov. 15, 2021: 12:25 p.m Computing is working on resolving post-upgrade issues.

UPDATE Nov. 12, 2021: 8:51 a.m. We have eliminated the Java warning message that has led to frozen sessions.

UPDATE Nov. 11, 2021: 12:49 p.m. We are trying to work on a solution to defeat the following warning, which is leading to the sessions being frozen when a user selects “Do not show this again… Read more

UPDATE Nov. 10, 2021: 2:01 p.m. Oracle eBusiness Suite (eBS) will be down Wednesday, Nov. 10, 10 p.m. to midnight for maintenance. Read more

UPDATE Nov. 10, 2021: 11:59 a.m. Some users are still experiencing intermittent issues. We are continuing to investigate.

UPDATE Nov. 9, 2021: 2:30 p.m. eBS is again up and running, but some users are still experiencing intermittent issues. We are continuing to investigate.

UPDATE Nov. 9, 2021: 1:56 p.m. We need to bring down the eBS system to increase its memory. This work started at 1:45 p.m. and will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.

UPDATE Nov. 9, 2021: 11:57 a.m. eBS is still up and running, but some users are experiencing intermittent issues. We are continuing to investigate.

UPDATE Nov. 9, 2021: 11:48 a.m. – eBS is currently available. Support staff continues to investigate the issue and monitor the eBS system.

Nov. 9, 2021: 11:23 a.m. – The Oracle eBusiness System (eBS) is currently unavailable. Support staff is working on the issue. Check back here for updates at least every hour.
