FSPA hybrid seminar – July 27

The FSPA early-career seminar series is continuing with its next talk being held on Wednesday, July 27, at noon CT.

For those on site and interested in attending this seminar in person, please know that we will continue to monitor attendance to ensure the safety of all participants and to comply with COVID-19 capacity limits. We are also still providing a virtual presence for those who prefer to or feel more comfortable with joining us remotely. Currently, our invited speakers will continue to connect via Zoom.

This month, we are pleased to host Youssef Sarkis Mobarak, a recent PhD graduate of the Instituto de Ciencias Nucleares UNAM, who will talk on the subject of, “A comprehensible study of ionization efficiency for pure crystals, LAr and LXe ionization detectors.”
