June issue of Particles newsletter

The Fermilab Office of Communication is pleased to share the latest issue of Particles, a monthly newsletter from Fermilab senior management that covers key projects and initiatives and the “behind-the-scenes” support critical to our success. This issue’s highlights include: the first time Fermilab officially commemorated Juneteenth and participated in local LGBTQ+ Pride parades; we saw our own Lab Director, Lia Merminga, testify before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space, & Technology on behalf of the HEP community in a session titled “Investigating the Nature of Matter, Energy, Space and Time;” we applauded our colleagues for successfully deploying a long-distance quantum network between Fermilab and Argonne using local fiber optics; and other news.

The June 2022 issue of Particles is now available on the From lab leadership page on News at Work (login required).

Fermilab senior management welcomes your comments, questions and feedback on Particles. We will continually improve the content to make it most valuable to you.

Enjoy!
