Walk2Run / Walk2Walk Begins Aug. 31

This complimentary 10-week class will teach you to run, improve your fitness, and assist you in losing weight and lowering cholesterol. Take this opportunity to get out and get some exercise! Walkers, runners and want-to-be-runners are welcome to participate.

Week one will consist of running/speed walking two minutes and walking four, repeated five times, for a total of 30 minutes. We will gradually increase your running/speed walking potential each week. Week ten will consist of a 30-minute continuous run/speed walk. All employees and users/affiliates are welcome to join us regardless of age, speed or level of experience. Wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothes.

Walk2Run / Walk2Walk will be held virtually and onsite on Wednesdays, Aug. 31st – Nov. 2, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. If you are onsite, please meet outside Wilson Hall, at the west side employee entrance and be ready to depart at 4:30 p.m. Virtual participants may do this on their own time.
