Cisco AnyConnect client update for Macs available in Self Service starting Thursday, Sept. 8

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Computing will be updating the Cisco AnyConnect client for Mac to version 4.10.05111 in the Self Service tool.

WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?

Thursday, Sept. 8

WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?

  • Starting Sept. 8, an updated version (version 4.10.05111) of Cisco AnyConnect client will be available to install via Self Service for centrally managed Macs.
  • This update is not being installed on users’ Macs directly because installing the update will disconnect any active VPN sessions. Users will have to install the updated version manually.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

To install the updated version of Cisco AnyConnect client on your centrally managed Mac, do the following:

  1. Disconnect from VPN.
  2. Launch the Self Service tool from the “Applications” folder and install the new version.
