Correction: Cisco Jabber upgrade Thursday, Sept. 29 – reboot may be required

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Computing will be deploying a new version (v14.1.2) of Cisco Jabber for Windows and Mac computers.

WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?

Thursday, Sept. 29; at 7 a.m. Central Time

WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?

After the upgrade, you may be prompted to re-sign into Cisco Jabber.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

After Thursday, Sept. 29, please connect your computer to the lab wired network or VPN if you’re working remotely. Once connected, your computer will prompt you to initiate the upgrade process. You may be prompted to reboot as part of this process. If you use a Windows computer, you will be able to delay the upgrade to a more convenient time if needed. You can also initiate the upgrade through Self Service for Macs or Software Center for Windows.
