The intervening days will be reimbursed at the lesser of actual cost or 55% of the Federal per diem rate.
  • Meals and Incidental Expenses (M&IE): For the first 30 days and the last 30 days of an assignment, FNAL will reimburse costs associated with M&IE expenses at a rate not to exceed 100% of the Federal per diem rate at the assignment location. The intervening days will be reimbursed at a reduced rate, not to exceed 55% of the Federal per diem rate.
