We are happy to announce Cross-lab AI Meetings, a new forum for discussions on machine learning and artificial intelligence across all departments at Fermilab. The meetings will feature partially guided discussions, led by researchers at the lab, on various ML-topics — both in general and as they pertain to research at the lab. We invite everyone working on or interested in the theory and applications of machine learning — including interns, graduate students, postdocs, engineers, developers and scientists of all levels — to the meetings. The goal is to form a community for ML researchers at the lab to facilitate discussions, learning and new collaborations.
The meetings will be held biweekly on Fridays from 2:30-3:30 p.m. (before the Wine and Cheese Seminar) in a hybrid format (in-person+virtual). The first meeting will be on Oct. 21, and is intended to be less structured than the subsequent meetings to allow for introductions/meet and greet.
First meeting date and time: Friday, Oct. 21, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
In-person location: Curia II-WH2SW (Wilson Hall 2nd floor)
Registration: Click here for Zoom info (Services login required)
