The Information Technology Division will be performing maintenance on the central NAS file-server cluster.
WHEN WILL THIS OCCUR?
Wednesday, Jan. 18; 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. Central Time
WHAT IS THE IMPACT TO YOU?
During this time, the following file servers will have four outages, each lasting up to 60 seconds:

- cdfserver1
- cdserver
- d0server4
- d0server6
- dirserver1
- eshserver1
- filesrv01
- filesrv02
- finsrv44
- filesrv-app
- homesrv01
- lsserver
- numiserver
- ppdserver
- pseekits
- sci-win-nas-0
- tdfiler
- tdserver1
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
- Avoid opening files on the file servers listed above during the maintenance window.
- If possible, Windows and Mac users should log off their computers when leaving work on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
- Windows and Mac users who experience issues with file services after 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 should reboot their computers.
- UNIX/Linux system administrators, please check your NFS mounts after the maintenance window and perform re-mounts if needed.
