Maria Lifka
We are thrilled to announce that effective March 6, 2023, Maria Lifka will be the Benefits and Wellbeing Manager. In this role she will be responsible for the strategic direction for the planning, analysis and administration of all laboratory benefit and wellbeing plans and programs along with compliance for ERISA plans. The Benefits and Wellbeing team will report directly to Maria.
Maria joined FRA in 2014 with 10 years of benefits administration experience. She previously held various benefits roles with Unitrin, Chicago Title and Trust Company, and Arthur Andersen.
Maria has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University with specializations in Human Resources and Marketing.
Throughout Maria’s tenure at Fermilab, she has been instrumental in the implementation of the paid parental leave, short-term disability, high deductible health plan and health savings account. She has been a trusted business partner across the laboratory. Please congratulate Maria on the next step in her career as she takes over as the leader of the Benefits & Wellbeing team.
