On April 24, 2023, a Fermilab road culvert replacement project began to replace seven culverts around the Batavia site and requires road closures. The fourth road closure will occur on Pine St. near Buffalo Field Watering Hole from May 23 through June 2. Please see map below for alternative routes around the work area. The tentative schedule for all seven road culvert replacements is:
- 4/24/23 – 5/02/23: F Road (Near MP9)
- 5/03/23 – 5/11/23: Discovery Rd Near NS1
- 5/12/23 – 5/22/23: Discovery Rd North of NWA
- 5/23/23 – 6/02/23: Pine Street (Near Buffalo Field Watering Hole)
- 6/05/23 – 6/15/23: B Rd/Pine Street (Between FCC & CHL)
- 6/16/23 – 6/27/23: B Rd/Receiving Rd (Near Well House #3)
- 6/28/23 – 7/06/23: Wilson Road/B Road (Wilson Gate Closure)
