The 2023 SPIN (Strategic Program for Innovation at the National Labs) cohort visited Fermilab for modules five and six of the program (of 12 modules) on May 11 and 12.
Modules five and six included topics on intellectual property and mechanisms for funding research ideas. The SPIN program is created and delivered by University of Chicago Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (with guests from national labs).

Participants enjoyed a University of Chicago-hosted dinner and fireside chat. The speaker for the fireside chat was Bob Zwaska (division head; AD) with Mauricio Suarez (deputy head industry engagement; IARC) as the emcee. Photo: Charles Thangaraj
This is the second cohort in the program, and we had participants from Fermilab, Argonne, PPPL, and Ames National Lab. (For first cohort, visit this link).
If you have questions about the program, please connect with Charles Thangaraj or Mauricio Suarez of IARC.
