Sheldon Stone, distinguished professor of physics at Syracuse University, who had strong connections to Fermilab, passed away in early October at the age of 75.
Former Fermilab scientist Al Brenner died on April 13 in Washington, D.C. He was one of the original members of the Fermilab scientific staff. He was a member of several experiments in the lab’s first decades but was best known as the father of computing at Fermilab.
