The June 4 registration deadline for the Users Meeting is fast approaching. Registration is quick, and all events are free. Celebrate the Main Injector’s 20th anniversary, and come to the party for the end of MINERvA’s data-taking run. Hear about the lab’s progress in particle physics and accelerator science, and learn about the latest in artificial intelligence. Everyone is welcome.
With 2019 comes new faces on the Fermilab Users Executive Committee. In September, after the Fermilab user community cast their ballots, we welcomed six new members to the 12-person committee to serve the 2018-19 term. You are invited to come meet the committee, and our friends from the Fermilab Student and Postdoc Association, on Friday, Jan. 18, at 3 p.m. at a UEC meet-and-greet social event.
This year’s meeting features exciting presentations on Fermilab’s physics programs, a talk on diversity and inclusion, and a forum where users can interact with the Users Executive Committee.
