On Wednesday, Sept. 22, the Women’s Initiative Laboratory Research Group hosted its second Tea Talk of the year. More than 120 attendees gathered to hear about the professional journeys of three of their Fermilab colleagues.
On Aug. 27, 11 Fermilab innovators completed the second cohort of the Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Practicum, sponsored by the Office of Partnerships and Technology Transfer. The practicum is designed as a lighter version of DOE’s Energy I-Corps. Like Energy I-Corps, the practicum gives researchers the framework for industry engagement and market awareness. This summer, the entire series was conducted virtually over the course of eight weeks.
On Feb. 21, Fermilab recognized 64 individuals for their technological innovations, honoring them at the laboratory Inventor Recognition Ceremony. The event celebrated employees who earned patents and submitted records of invention during 2019 and other award winners.
