On June 10, the US CMS collaboration participated in a day of reflection and conversation in support of the Strike For Black Lives, which was led by a group of physicists. About 525 members of the US ATLAS and the US CMS collaborations, including a few external guests, gathered together virtually.

Longtime Fermilab scientist-user Greg Snow died on May 4 at age 65. He made significant contributions to the DZero and CMS experiments. A physicist at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, he was also passionate about sharing the joy of science with the public, most evident in his leadership of the Education, Outreach and Public Relations program of the Pierre Auger Project. He had many friends throughout the high-energy physics field who appreciated his enthusiasm, kindness and good company, and he will be missed by all.
