Emergency and disaster mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery is the foundation of emergency management. It is through the development of emergency training and response plans that Fermilab is able to reduce its vulnerability to hazards and cope with disasters.

The current ESH&Q Joule is Al Sondgeroth. As a quality assurance representative, Al Sondgeroth represents the Accelerator Division to the ESH&Q Section, disseminates quality-assurance-related information between the division and section, and identifies and helps perform AD self-assessments. Lab Status Overview – Injury/Illness Summary
There are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of electrical appliances and products across the Fermilab site. We expect that if a product comes with a cord and a plug, we can plug it into a receptacle and be safe. That’s not always true, though.
A quick reminder to everyone that all ES&H groups throughout the laboratory have restructured.
Green cones will soon begin popping up in the parking lots — a sure sign that winter is coming to Fermilab. This means that it’s time to take more care walking in parking lots and choosing where to park.
