The CMS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is the core of an art and science project that has inspired dozens of other works of art. You will have the chance to see many of those starting next month when the Fermilab Art Gallery hosts the Art@CMS exhibit.
Artist Edward Tufte’s art installation “Interplanetary Explorer” was put into place in front of Wilson Hall on Thursday. It is one piece of his art exhibit at Fermilab. The exhibit opens tomorrow as part of the laboratory’s Feynman celebration.
