The Bible Exploration for Lunch League plans to begin a new 8-part study from Q Place called “They Met Jesus,” which examines stories of people in the Bible who had life-changing encounters with Jesus. The Bible Exploration for Lunch League (BELL) plans to begin a 6-part video-based study on alleviating poverty called “When Helping Hurts: The Small Group Experience” on Thursday, February 25. The Fermilab Board Game Guild meets every Tuesday at the User’s Center from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Everyone is welcome, and no connection with Fermilab is required. Board games played include, but are not limited to, Puerto Rico, Ticket To Ride, Seven Wonders, Stone Age, Attica, Alhambra, Citadels, and many more. Next fall, in October 2016, the riding club and stables at Fermilab will close, but their 45 years at the laboratory will leave an important legacy, a reminder that Robert Wilson’s vision of Fermilab as a pioneering laboratory extended to the vast prairie land on which it is built.
