At the 2017 APS Division of Particles and Fields meeting at Fermilab, Stanford scientist Daniel Gruen reported the year-one results from the Dark Energy Survey, including the most accurate measurement ever made of the present large-scale structure of the universe. You can view a video of Gruen’s talk, which is now available online.

Scientists Rocky Kolb and Mike Turner recount the time they first proposed that Fermilab – dedicated to the study of the universe’s smallest constituents — expand its program to include the stars, galaxies and the cosmos.
