The Fermilab Scientist Advisory Council has recently welcomed new members and elected new co-chairs Bo Jayatilaka and Brendan Kiburg. The SAC meets regularly with the Directorate and discusses topics of interest in both short- and long-term plans for the laboratory’s research program as well as issues related to careers and professional development of the scientific staff.
Please submit nominations for the 2019-2021 Scientific Advisory Council members. The Scientific Advisory Council has 15 members who serve a 2 year term, with half the group rotating out each year. The SAC needs diverse representation, incorporating scientists from all scientific areas and from people at all stages of their careers, so please keep this in mind when making your nominations.
