A new LDRD (Laboratory Directed Research and Development) session has been added the EAC engineering retreat on Monday, Feb. 17. The LDRD program is a great resource for all science and technology staff at the laboratory with the FY21 call coming out in late spring. This session will provide a presentation on the program followed by Q&A. All are welcome to attend.

The celebration of National Engineers Week was started in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers in conjunction with President George Washington’s birthday. President Washington is considered as the nation’s first engineer, notably for his survey work. It is observed by more than 70 engineering, education, and cultural societies, and more than 50 corporations and government agencies.
